How To Take Lithium Batteries On Commercial Airplanes

Did you know you can actually take your Lithium Batteries on commercial airplanes even if they are above 100 watt hours?

How do I get them through security?

To get batteries through security they will need to be under 100 watt hours, or you will need one of our MaxAmps Modular Batteries. These modular batteries are broken down into multiple units that are under 100 watt hours so that they can be taken on commercial airplanes. Using a bullet connector, you can completely disconnect each module. They are also clearly labeled for the TSA agent to read the label as under 100 watt hours for each unit. When in use, just reconnect the bullet connector for full voltage.

What Modular Batteries do you offer?

As of right now we offer a Lipo 11000 4S 14.8v, Lipo 5450 6S 22.2v and a Graphene Lipo 5450 6S 22.2v. with any connecter or balance lead you need.

Will I lose voltage using a Modular Battery?

No, you won't! The batteries will perform just as normal and they are super easy to connect and disconnect
