What’s it like to work at MaxAmps Batteries?
Wondering what it’s like working at MaxAmps Lithium Batteries? I was in the same boat when I started my job at MaxAmps in November of 2023! My name is Kaylob, here’s my experience working at MaxAmps for almost a year.
RUNNING TOWARDS THE DANGER
I’ve never had a job where “Running Towards the Danger” was a core value - until I started at MaxAmps. They encourage a company culture where we ask hard questions, get outside our comfort zone, and address concerns together as a team.
MADE IN THE USA FOR THE USA
I have a buddy named Luke who is a Ranger in the army. MaxAmps is a battery supplier of the military, and focuses on building each battery right here in the USA. Working with MaxAmps makes me feel like I’m doing my part to help our country and the people who serve it.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS CREATE A CUSTOM JOB ENVIRONMENT
If you know anything about MaxAmps, you know we create custom lithium batteries. Because each battery is made to order, the employee experience looks different each day. I really enjoy having variety in the week through shrink wrapping, editing videos, and even writing my first blog post!
GROWING ALONGSIDE MAXAMPS
Within less than a year, I have learned how to shrink wrap, solder, and expand my writing capabilities. MaxAmps is constantly looking for ways to grow, and it’s reflected in our team and career opportunities. Starting in a two car garage in 2004, MaxAmps now has a warehouse space in Spokane, Washington with over 18 employees.
